Privacy Policy
Nightmare Fall: Cozy & Spooky for iPhone · Effective 12 October 2026
This policy explains what information the game Nightmare Fall ("the game") uses, why, and the choices you have. The game is made by FrontTribe ("we", "us"), which is responsible for it. If you have a question, write to kresimir.galic@fronttribe.com.
The short version
- You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, e-mail or any other contact details.
- Your progress (levels, stars, dream dust, pajamas, your room) is saved only on your device.
- The game shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising identifier and other device information to show and measure ads, but only as described below and with your consent where the law requires it.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- We do not sell your personal information.
What stays on your device
Your game progress and settings (sound, music, haptics, accessibility options) are stored on your iPhone so you can continue where you left off. We do not receive them. Deleting the game deletes them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows optional rewarded ads (for example "Keep falling" or "x2 dust"), which you choose to watch, and from level 1-15 an occasional full-screen ad between levels. Players who buy "No Ads" do not see the ads between levels.
The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, and for users in the European Economic Area and the UK, Google Ireland Limited). To show ads, limit how often they appear, prevent fraud and measure results, AdMob may collect and process:
- the device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks;
- the IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location (country or city);
- device and app information, such as the device model, iOS version, language and the app's version;
- information about the ads you see and tap.
Your choices. iOS asks whether the game may track you across apps. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized based on your activity in other apps. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the game also asks for your consent through Google's consent message before any personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice later from the game's settings. You can also reset or limit the advertising identifier in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
More about how Google uses information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Dream dust, the Pass and No Ads are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy. The game only receives a confirmation that a purchase succeeded so it can give you what you bought. Every purchase in the game first asks a short grown-up question.
Bedtime reminders
If you turn them on, the game sets reminders on your iPhone itself (at most one an evening, for the next three evenings). They are local notifications: nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. You can turn them off in the game's Accessibility settings or in iOS Settings.
Crash reports and diagnostics
We do not add our own analytics to the game. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us.
Children
The game is made for a general audience and is rated 9+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). The game does not ask for any personal details, and purchases are protected by a grown-up question. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR applies, personalized advertising is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Non-personalized advertising and fraud prevention are based on our legitimate interest in funding a free game. Purchases are processed to perform the contract with you.
Keeping and deleting information
We do not keep personal information about you on our servers. Information collected by Google AdMob is kept according to Google's retention policies. Deleting the game removes everything stored on your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the game does not collect personal information on our side, most requests about advertising data are best directed to Google. You are always welcome to contact us at kresimir.galic@fronttribe.com, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
